Packet of about 350 large cherry tomato vegetable seeds.
Growing cherry tomatoes from seed allows you to start the seeds inside in late winter or early spring approximately six to eight weeks before the last expected frost in your area. This will produce seedlings ready for planting in the garden when the weather is right. Although any tomato seed can be directly sown in the soil in the spring, these plants require a long growing time from germination to fruit production, so starting them inside is recommended. Cherry tomato seeds germinate quickly and require relatively little care when started inside.
To direct sow cherry tomato seedlings in the garden, plant the seeds to a depth of 1/4 inch in prepared soil, after all danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Cover lightly and keep the soil moist until seedlings emerge.
Plant indoors in a pot or on your patio/rooftop in a container garden. Keep em warm with plenty of sunlight and water em when they are thirsty.
